Well today Nintendo of America had a conference thing and they announced the release date of the Wii U and the price of the system.Also they announced some games that will be launch titles. The price of Wii U is 300$ if you purchase it with Nintendo land and the release date is going to be November 18th just in time to get it for Christmas!!! Some of the launch titles include a special edition of mass effect 3, Sonic and all stars racing transformed, game and Wario, ZombieU and new super Mario bros U, These games will all release in between november 18 and march 2013.

mourinhosgum : There are actually two different versions of the system. The white one is 299$ and the Black one is 350$ which also gives you more internal storage an HDMI cord and a few other options as well as a 2 year membership to their elite online service (Nintendoland) which gives you discounts on their games purchased online.

There are a ton of cool options that they have given to the system. Along with TV viewing support on the controller, DVR functionality and a ton more.

They also announced that they have an Exclusive sequel to Bayonetta and games like Assassin's Creed III and Black Ops 2 on the system. A lot of exciting things.

The only thing that really bothers me is the price of the controllers, but really with the fact that it's a handheld tablet in your hands it makes sense...and is pretty affordable when taken into consideration on what it does. I will be very interested to see what the system can do.
