Mario Kart was a lot more fun. I used to get my friends together and we would race each other on Mario Kart 64 for hours on end. So, I definitely had more fun playing Mario Kart. I even tried Mario Party and didn't care much for it.

I've always liked racing-type games going all the way back to Spy Hunter and Off Road for the NES.  I love to play Mario Kart.  I've played a couple different kinds but my favorite one would be Mario Kart 64.  The first one I played was for the SNES.  It was okay...not great.  I never played Mario Party, but I have heard of it and heard its a lot of fun to play.  I could never find anybody to play it with because Mario Party is better when you have...I'd say at least 3-4 people.

I prefer Mario Kart over Mario Party because it is more fast paced. Mario Party is merely an electronic board game with a ton of mini games. I like Mario Kart because it is a lot more competitive and it is, overall, a lot better. In my opinion, racing games are a lot more appealing to me than Mario Party type of games.

When playing with friends and family, I like Mario party more because one game can last hours and you wont even realize, but with Mario kart a race ends in a few minutes and then a new race will start. Mario kart solo is a lot more fun then Mario party solo.

Definitely Mario Kart, Mario party just gets boring for me, there is too much waiting around. On the over hand Mario Kart gets you straight in the action. Just to add on to the fact that I love motor sport.

For me this is not even a question. Mario Party is simply a virtual board game that doesn't even have much skill involved, so I tire of it easily. Mario Kart on the other hand is an amazing racing game, so the two don't even compare.
