Dragon Quest V (English by DeJap): Recommended mob partners?
I know Slime knight for sure, but.... Any other mob actually worth getting and training???

Kso after being an idiot and pressing f2, I am now forced to replay through the whole Game of Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride. I'm planning on making A backup team with two mobs available for teaming up with in the game, i know Slime knight is a must, but what else? Also, this game is the best one out of the series for me.

Slime knight is one of the better, easy mobs you can get, but also golem is a solid tank fighter and easy to get. Orc King is also another solid choice with its revive and multi-healing. It has a decent capture rate as well.

Healer or Curer can be great if you want just a heal-battery or reviver, but they have finicky capture rates. I generally do not use monsters much as I prefer to use humans and the sabercat, only taking slime knight with me, but that's just a personal preference I developed after so many playthroughs.
