My Team Is Ok At Best. I Really Wanted Tony Romo Though. My 2nd Choice For QB Would Have To Be Tyrod Taylor.

I'm a Cowboys fan too... but I dunno why you'd specifically want Romo. He's a top 10 QB, but you could have aimed for a top 5 one pretty easily.

I somehow ended up with Cleveland and Detroit for DEF. I dunno how this will work out.

I'm starting to really realize how much I got crapped on during the draft. Seriously, except for 3 players, the rest of my team is just crap. I didn't even get a starting QB, how did that happen?

Auto-Draft.

That's how.

It's really auto draft combined with there being too many people in the league.  This year is going to be really hectic in the way that it functions as a result.  Also, it should have been made that everyone would draft a qb, but that is what pre draft rankings are for.

mlb789 : I did the pre draft ranking and I really thought I did a good job on it. I guess I just got unlucky and legacyme3 just got really lucky.

I wouldn't say I got lucky. I think I got two players I ranked at all. And I just had the fortune of getting the third pick in the draft (although that means my second pick was near the end of the 2nd round).

Basically, if Rodgers gets injured, I'm pretty much done. haha.

Keep in mind, the below are ALL projections. I'm not in any way implying a team WILL win or WILL lose.



According to current projections... the playoff teams WOULD be Suxfuns, Armed Schnaubbery, Team Doom, STL VIZZED, and then destroyers O.O, and TehP0is0nPlayer as wild card teams. (Due to Team Zebra having an extra loss and therefor, lower standing despite the higher power ranking)

Some more fun facts about the projections (I'm a stat guy, so I will probably do stuff like this as it pops up)...

The only team the Vizzeteers (David) is "projected" to beat as of now is InvertedCaps (pacman1755). This is because they are projected to be 1-2 in the division, and only have one total projected win. As Team Zebra is (again) projected to beat every team in the division, and Armed Schnaubbery's only projected loss is against them, that leaves only one other team in the division.

Globeration features two of the top four projected teams, as well as two of the four lowest projected teams.

In Staffination, only one team is in the projected top 8, STL Vizzed, projected at 6th. They have the easiest projected schedule, being the only team without 1000+ points against.

In Trusteration, Suxfuns is only projected to lose one game. That one game, is in-division, likely against Skeletor22 (only likely, because they play only 3 teams in division, and I'm too lazy to look up the schedule.) Also of note is that Suxfuns has over 1100 projected points, the only team above that threshold.

As for Anonymation... well, there's little to say other than the fact they contain 3 of the top 10, and 3 of the bottom 10. They look to be the most balanced division in regards to projections.

Weakest Division (opponents that score the least points) - Globeration
Most Competitive Division (closer scores) - Staffination
Least Competitive Division (blowouts) - Trusteration

Top Teams to miss playoffs - Team Zebra, Team V, skeletor22

Things will change as moves happen... but it's fun to note silly things to start the season out.

That puts a lot of pressure on me to not mess things up. And after my bunch of roster moves, I'm dead last in the waiver list. So I gotta hope what I've got is good enough.

Bye weeks are gonna make things a bit tough, though. I bet I lose weeks 7 and 9 (even though I'm only projected to lose once).

You just had a really good draft, and made some smart moves off the bat. Again, as they are projections, anything can happen. Your best players could get injured, a backup QB on another team could have a breakout season... a defense could come to life or fall apart... too many variables to tell for sure

I think he drafted three.

Matt Schaub, Matt Cassel, and Tyrod Taylor, then added Russel Wilson using his high priority waiver claim.

It's a risky move, because he's assuming someone will overpay for an average QB.

legacyme3 : Although with this league having 20 teams and a lot of them teams having 2 QBs, the demand for QBs is actually pretty high. For example, I didn't even get a starting QB (but I'm in the process of considering some trades).

It's a smart move to have 2 QBs, just in case someone gets injured, the teams that have two starting QBs, should probably hold onto them, and hope the starting option of another team in the league goes down so they can get an overpay. lol

Well yeah, I mean how much pressure could there be in fantasy football? I guess I just don't expect to do all that well, and it's gonna stink to look back at how well I was expected to do.
