Anyone play this game? Anyone play the first one?
I love this game, its perfect other than the minor glitches
But it has a great combo of star wars,role playing, story, and everything else. I recommend this game to everyone that likes RPGs......ITS A GREAT GAMe...and so is the first.
What do you think about it?

I love the original KOTOR, in fact I'm playingit at the moment for what must be the fith time!
Not played the sequel yet as it isn't released in the UK until February. Can't wait to get my paws on it though. What's the plot like?

I'm playing the second one now and I have to say it's an incredible game.

I also like how the choices "actually" effect you, and can effect you in many different ways, unlike other games that claimed you could. *cough* Fable *cough*. (KOTOR > Fable, easily).

At first I didn't really like the combat, but I got used to it, and since these games have such an awesome storyline, you just have to keep on playing more.

Like others said though, you can get pretty powerful in the end I'm assuming. I've upgraded my Lightsaber as of now (Double Bladed, Blue), gave a single handed one to Visas (Female Jedi) and now ... I'm nearly unstoppable, sometimes I'll have to heal myself in battle, but that's rare ever since I got some Lightsabers.

I love how the stats work also, it's pretty in depth. From what I've heard, KOTOR II has more available Feats than the first one.

Definitely an in depth game worth checking out, I'd also recommend it. I even have a friend who hates Star Wars, and he loves these games. That should tell you how good they are.

Yeah there are a lot more feats. The fighting system was pretty weird at first, but it is cool once you get used to it.

I have a double bladed light saber too, and it sucks. Theres like a 65 percent chance of hitting someone with it. How do i beef it up?

And it can do like 8-56 or something more or less

Well from what I know the double bladed lightsaber is more clumsy than a single handed one, but packs more power.

Have you tried upgrading it maybe? Attaching things to it, etc.

Make sure to also raise Feats like Duelist (I think), Lightsaber use (that could be a Force Ability), just things involving melee attacking.

I loved KOTOR 1 and 2, in 2 being to make your upgrade items is great for making a hardcore lightsaber. by the end of the gane mine did somewhere from 30-50 damage I forget exactly. Whoever thought of putting D N'D+Star Wars is truly a genius.

I pimped myself in everything evolving melee attacks, and still I miss all the time.

Just beat the first Kotor, and I was about to get mad at it for being so easy, but i just realized there is a difficulty setting so yeeeeey for KOTOR. I will definantly get the 2nd one and fable is < -3878 to the 3 power

Are you saying that Fable was a bad game?

I thought Fable was an alright game, other than it being soo short..

But KOTOR was a great game, the battle system is alittle mad crazy, but other than that(and the end boss..sad ) it was a great game

KOTOR 2 is great, you meet different characters depending on you alignment shift and gender...I think a wookiee joins your party if your evil.

I didn't ever take the time to finish fable because after My character was maxed out I really didn't have a point. I will probably finish it some day. I thought the graphic weren't even that great. And thought it wasn't revolutionary. IT was OK. It didn't live up to the hype though.

Not even close.

They took alot of things that were supposed to be in the game out. Like before it would be free roaming but now it has restictions like no other. LIke a ps game. After playing morrowind I cringe

It had a tremendous amount of potential...I HATE INVISIBLE WALLS!!! Maybe in the inevitable sequel but...that could take awhile.

I played evil and never got a wookie character...Im gonna play the game hardcore once i get it. Maybe ill buy the strategy guide.

Ive already heard rumors of a KOTOR 3 by obsidian hell they'll probly make games until the present in the star wars saga. Which is what 40,000 years or so?

Its been sitting on my shelf for a while now, I am wanting to master Morrowind game of the year edition. that has the first morrowind and the two expansion, providing 100+ hours of new gameplay. Since the next Elderscrolls game is coming out. But since the next starwars movie....
