I had thought up of this when I saw the (in)famous Kitty0706 create a Source Film Maker video.  While I'm not saying it's bad he's exploring other medias, I've always loved the work he did with Gmod.  Gmod videos are generally more over-the-top and stupid, which is why they are funny.  Source Film Maker videos are too realistic looking to get that Gmod comedy feel to it, so those videos are better in quality, not profanity.  So, I ask, do you think Gmod is getting the boot from video makers in favor of Source Film Maker, and if so, how will this affect the Valve Machinama film base as a whole?

Sure there's been a big pool of source videos since its release and a slowdown of Gmod videos, but that doesn't mean one will become significant to the other in every way. It's just a matter of the preference and style of how each one is used (I'm no expert or anything involving how to make usage on them but I've seen enough of videos to think of an idea). And there's still some users submitting gmod videos either by choice or due to lack of specs, so there.
It's probably a little to early to even think about such an age, but that's all I can think of for the time being...
