One day I was with my friends in upper Michigan at a beach on lake Superior and we were walking on a sandstone ledge that was below a cliff. There was a rope attached to the cliff and I heard a guy yelling for help, I ran over there and saw a snorkeler hanging on to the rope getting smashed against the ledge by the waves! It was too slippery to walk up with the rope so me and my friends pulled him up. The waves were particularly rough that day, and the current tends to drag you out to sea if you aren't careful.

Have you ever potentially saved someones life?

yes i have. one day these guys where playing with fire crackers one went under the grill and i had to make sure it didnt bloe up or all of us would be dead and i grabed it and threw it and the fire cracker hit the tip of my fingers. and it hurt.   

I saved my cat once, he was about to fall down a large flight of stairs and I caught him

When my friend and I were 10 we were swimming in a pool, he began to drown and I lifesaved him (though he didn't appreciate cuz he had no idea what I was doing)

Another time another one of my friends was about to fall over the edge of a type of bouncing castle when I caught him by the legs...wouldn't have killed him, but he coulda got a nasty bruise

yeah, my friend and i were walking to the mall and she was texting someone, and she stepped into the rode when a truck was coming down the rode. i garbed her and pulled her out of the way before the truck hit her.

Clayton 2 : Yes. Here's the story: One day my grandma was getting her car fixed and my little brother age 4 and I age 7 [now I'm 8] came with her. My little brother went up a cliff running. As soon as I noticed he was climbing, I ran faster than Jamacia's Usian Bolt. I grabbed him BARELY!

when my little brother was a few months old, he fell down the stairs and if he hit the cement he could of broke his head and died sense he is only a few months old, in the middle of the staircase, while he was falling i caught him.

I saved my cousin from choking once. We were throwing up pieces of candy into the air and catching them in our mouths, and one lodged in her throat. I thought she was joking at first because she was flailing and coughing and being kind of comical about it, but then she started to get purple and I realized she was a better actor than I took her for, or she was choking to death. Anyway, I punched her in the back and she barfed it up all over my favorite sleeping bag. What an ingrate!

It's become a joke between us that I just punched her because I wanted to punch her, and she happened to be choking. Also that if she ever chokes, I'm going to relish the opportunity to punch her again. Neither are really true, but it makes us laugh anyway. She's my best friend, so obviously, I'm glad I got to be violent on her for a good cause.

There's a couple other things that I can't think of right now, but that story's my favorite and easiest to recall. I'm a natural born hero though, so I save people left and right (don't look into it).

Well, I never do it. To be honest, it is probably because I am too shy.

I think this counts.

My sister fell once in a pit full of water (the water was because last night it rained a lot) she was about to drown, when me and my Dad saved her.
