My first Pokémon would be a charmander or cyndiquil just because they are awesome and they're evolved forms are very powerful. In all of the Pokémon games I've played charzard has never let me down even when he was facing an enemy that would use water or ground moves and was normally 10-20 level higher than me I would destroy them without losing more than half my life. Cyndiquil is just adorable and cute lol....

Depending on availability, I would chose either Charmander, or Pikachu. I would also choose Growlithe or Ponyta. I also like Vulpix, and Eevee. The list could go on, I love Pokémon.

I would actually catch a Ralts. As much as I would love to start off with something much stronger chances are with my personality I would be like Wally in Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald version. I would not be the type of trainer who enters contests but I would probably end up trying it out anyways. Also Ralts is a Pokemon I have always liked using in games so it would be a good fit for me.
