I downloaded the plugin and I am new...I am trying to play F-zero for snes old time favorite...the emulator has black screen and cant see the layout of the boards.When i try the other side the vizzed rgr plugin it still not working..I have brand new computer what am I doing wrong here?
I am not dissing anything or the site or anything like that I just cant get it to work so any help would be greatly appreciated..Give me step by step maybe I am missing something tiny..thanks a lot

gjnice21 : I'm sorry for the trouble you are experiencing.

So when you see the black screen, do you hear the game music at all? If you hear the music and don't see the graphics, just hit "reset" a lot of times that fixes the problem.
Does this problem only happen with the SNES games?

If that's not working you could try another browser. Firefox or Chrome are recommended. If you are using one, try the other and see if you have better results.

If not your best bet is to un-install the RGR plugin. Then Re-install WITH THE BROWSER CLOSED. Then restart your PC and try to load the game I linked above.

Thanks for your rapid reply Jordan..unfortunately I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice and rebooted after..the link you sent me only works using the Using NESCafe Java Emulator

I want to use the either of the other two plugins but it still gives me the "PLUGIN NOT FOUND" message

gjnice21 : It's no problem. although I'm confused on what you mean by Two other Plugins. There is only one RGR plugin. Are you referring to the Java emulators? Or something else?

Also before you didn't mention the Plugin not found message. You only said it was a black screen.

Usually when you get a message "Plugin not found" It leads me to believe that you had tried to load the game with two different browsers open at some point. If you are trying to use IE (Which I don't recommend) please add Vizzed.com as a "Trusted" site. I would prefer you to use Firefox or chrome which work best. Did you try either of those which I suggested? This also sometimes can cause an issue if you installed the game with your browser open.

You are correct the snes games only have the emulator or rgr plugin and it says plugin not found.
RGR Plugin ONLY works on Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. I have one of those for sure

I only use firefox and my computer is brand new and current. I read what causes might be it has the right working components..I am not sure why it still is not functioning..I closed down and reopened, uninstalled/reinstalled and booted back up..?

i dont know what u actully have problem of..just download plug in and all work..if not theres somethiing wrong your side not site..and u need java to use emulators....but basicly just download plug in..its not so hard..

Ok I understand that the Java emulators work for you but the RGR plugin doesn't. Since they work completely different, let's put the Java emulators to the site.

Ok so when you load a Game like F-Zero you get only a black screen. When you load a game like Super Mario Bros for NES. Did the same thing happen, or something different happens all together? Sorry for asking you so many questions but I want to make sure to get to the bottom of your issue.

Have you verified that the same thing happens in Chrome? It helps a lot of times to try this thing in a different environment.

i tried regular nintendo games with no plugins using te java they all work but all the super nintendo games that require plugins still cant find plugin evne though i downloaded it twice!!!

Like I said before, please leave the java emulators out of the conversation. In order to troubleshoot the RGR plugin, you should be clicking the link that refers to the RGR plugin. Found in this link http://puu.sh/XKhN

So when you load a NES game, Genesis, game or any other systems game DOES THE SAME error message occur "Plugin not found" or is there something else that happens. This is very important. I assume it is the same, but the way you are speaking leads me to believe this is not the case.

it works only in internet explorer which is bizarre...firefox and chrome did not work which is just strange..I answered every question I could along the way..all I care is that I can play and thanks for your feedback.What the cause actually was I could not tell you I have never had this kind of trouble downloading and getting anything to work

gjnice21 : I understand. Like I said sometimes it's weird depending on your video card/os and browser. Sometimes it works great in chrome for some people, sometimes it works in Firefox. The issues are weird. Sometimes I think that some add-ons for firefox interfere with the RGR plugin. Although I have not 100% verified that as of yet.

I personally use FF or Chrome and they both work fine but everyone's environment is a little different.
