I have some Japanese text I need translating, not much from a calender, actually to a native speaker it would be a doddle.

If you can translate it for me that would be great.

My plan is to take pictures of the text and then the person can translate it, it is from a poster so will be really easy to see.

I attach one as an example, if you can translate this that would be great.

no time wasters, I don't mind if you know a little bit but this is not a joke post, we are a loving community and do not ruin the reputation of vizzed.

I know that the symbol under the black cat on the bottom-right(the complicated one) means; Nakamura, or, The center of the village. That's also my last name, even though I'm more white then Japanese...sorry I can't be more help. Hope you find someone with some smooth skills.

I'm not very good with Katakana, but it looks like it might be ワッショイ, or "Heave Ho", which kind of makes sense given the context of the picture. I have no idea what the kanji might mean in that, though. Someone else will have to help with that.

Cute picture! On the red fans it means "(shrine / temple) festival", the two Expressions on the right from top to bottom mean "It's Summer." and "It's a festival."
The Katakana words were already translated by Lazlo, but the expression beneath the black cat (神輿) read 'mikoshi' and refers to the portable shrine the cats are carrying. So: "It's a portable shrine."
