Season two I think it is, of Grimm aired last night and it is the first time I've seen the series. I was a little lost since I haven't watched the series before this and there seems to be quite a few things in terms of plot development I missed, so I'm currently catching up on the first season. I'm not really sure what to think of it yet in it's entirety, I like it but at the same time I'm a little reserved with it until I've seen some more progression into the storyline. I don't mind the effects either. The way they portray the transformation of the creatures is well done. I think the plot is decent enough but the character development seems a little lacking to me. Granted I'm only four episodes into the first season now.

So far I'm really just glad that it's a somewhat original concept in terms of a lot of the recycled shows we see on the Television these days. I have watched quite a few titles that focus on the supernatural, monster hunter type ideas but in my opinion Grimm brings a fresh face to the mix and they're doing it in a way that isn't riding the coattails of every other series of the genre. It's an episodic Crime Drama with a supernatural twist and I don't think it's one to put down yet. Sometimes I find it a little cheesy but that's not entirely bad is it?

Frankly I also find the "Big Bad Wolf" and human detective scenario very amusing. The cases they try to solve every episode are also very intriguing to me. I'm not really finding much to dislike about the series so far. It's a humorous show with a darker side that compliment each other well I like to think. What are your opinions and thoughts on Grimm? Do you like how it is turning out in terms of plot, character development, visual effects, and the feel of the show in general? Or just anything else you would like to share, feel free to do so. I look forward to others opinions on it. I'm not worried about spoilers as I'll be catching up on the first season today so don't hold back from your reviews of the show. Just remember other users may not be the in the same mindset so make sure to add a little warning before you get into it for anyone who doesn't want to have it spoiled for them too much before they can get to it. I'll reply back when I can, I'm going to get a leg up and watch a few more episodes!
