Singelli : I tried to be nice, but if you can't offer me that courtesy in return, then neither will I.

Fine, then. Show me these "actual" scientists who gave you these "actual" definitions. Show me which scientist said that there are no transitional fossils. Show me which scientist said that punctuated equilibrium had anything to do with explaining the supposed lack of transitional fossils. (I showed you one who said the opposite!) Show me which scientist said that abiogenesis was the same thing as evolution. If your post is as "factual" and as "unbiased" as you claim, you can surely show me the evidence you have.

Yes, a lot of what in your post is correct. That doesn't mean that the rest of it isn't wrong.

I was replacing your words to be nice. When you use "evolution" instead of "abiogenesis," you are dead wrong before you can even finish the sentence because they are not the same thing (and you never gave a definition of evolution that said they were) even though you use them that way.

On the contrary to your claims, reading between the lines and anticipating future arguments is a staple of rhetoric, and it is used in many disciplines of academia. It's called prolepsis.

Your master's degree, as I recall, is in math, so it's entirely irrelevant to your stance on evolution. Additionally, I'm not the one who's saying that I know more than the experts; you are. If those 5 Ph.D. holders (in biology, I assume) believe in evolution (the same stance I believe in), why don't they trump you? Just because they gave your paper a good grade on it doesn't mean they believe in you, and just because you claim to have "30 scientific authors and half a dozen professors or more" on your side doesn't mean that you do.

You have spouted nothing but empty self affirmations about your post, and I demand to see the evidence you're so eager to claim represents your view.

If I'm as wrong as you say I am, then I dare you to show me where I'm wrong. It is completely insulting to dismiss the entirety of my post without addressing a single issue I brought up, and I can only assume that if you don't address these points, it's because you can't.

If you don't want to debate this any further, then don't, but until you cite your work, I will not accept your claims, and neither should anybody else.

Q :
A.  Not what I meant by reading between the lines.  Something else you've misunderstood.
B.  I really don't care what you think, and I do not need to BEND to your 'demands' to satisfy your ego.  Especially since I'm not debating this issue, as I've specified on more than one occasion.
C. Drive to my town and sure, I'll bring you to the people I talked to, who have Ph. D's and are scientists and doctors. (some have more than one Ph.D)   Your demand to meet them is just about as ridiculous as this demand to have you come here to meet them.  (And by the way, I listed some names for you as references in my last post.  And I mentioned that I don't have my original bibliography, and that it'd be a HUGE pain to find it.  Google my information and you can find it, I'm sure.  You're a capable adult.  I'm spending a lot of time on something else you requested, so I don't really have the time to go back 7 years and find my old bibliography.)
D. You haven't shown me any scientists.  You listed a few names.  Who have you directly talked to? What scientific studies have you directly performed yourself? Where is the evidence?  When it comes down to the nitty gritty, unless we are both physically in each other's presence, we can't prove anything to either of us.
E.  Never said my professors were evolutionists that I recall. I said they WEREN'T creationists.
F.  For about he dozenth time, most of what you posted is in AGREEMENT with MUCH of what I said.  I never, ever, EVER stated that abiogensis and evolution were the same. In fact I argued against it. Try again.  Show me that quote.
G.  A master's degree based on that paper has nothing to do with my degree in math.  In order to graduate from graduate school, I had to write a research paper.  This was mine.  I wouldn't have graduated if it wasn't factual.  And don't state that my professors were 'easy' on me or anything like that.  You didn't go to school with them for 7 years like I did.  I think I know how serious my own professors were.
H.  Again, I wasn't trying to force ANYONE to change their views, so refusing to accept mine?  Doesn't bother me in the SLIGHTEST.
I.  Assume as you wish.  As I've stated, I really don't care what you assume. You're not my sister or my mother or my best friend.  You're a stranger.  You making your own wrong assumptions about what I do and don't know has absolutely no affect on my life.
J. I won't respond to more personal insults and hot air.

For all future posters, can we stay on topic (age of earth) please?
Thank you.

Please close this thread.

I would appreciate it if no more posts were made here. There's another thread on evolution somewhere, but I don't want any more notifications here.
