First I hope I posted my introduction correctly (ie by opening a new thread in the newbie section).  Hello to all...I frankly haven't posted on any forum in ages, but since I don't want to deal with adds while I play Pokémon trading card game 2, I am making this post. It might be my last. I noticed however that the sound for the game was twice as fast as normal. Hoping that it was a fluke. Enjoy your games!! XD

This seems to be a common complaint, but ads are something that are a must to maintain the site, and to keep it free for everyone. You have to consider the fact that servers such as this can cost thousands of dollars a month on average, and David isn't making much of a profit, if any at all. I am actually sure there are times when he pitches in a large amount of the server costs himself, because there are times when donations and affiliates just simply do not generate enough revenue. Just be thankful that all of the people who work so hard to make this website possible are able to make these games free and legal for everyone. Welcome to the site, and I hope that you meet some good people and enjoy the various communities that the forums have to offer. If there are any questions or concerns, there is a help center available in the control panel and a link in the top right-hand corner of the page as well. There are also various help threads at your disposal, and you can always ask your questions in the appropriate forums to have them answered timely and most often effectively. Finally, if you still find yourself with questions or need anything, the active moderators are usually very helpful and more than happy to assist you. Enjoy playing Pokémon

You're right about the ads helping, that's pretty much how it is everywhere on the Internet where the public can use the website for free.   Pokémon is working great; sound is perfect, and the game is just like the first one but better!

Deschain19 : I understand your dislike for ads but honestly that's the only way that we can run this site and pay for everything that is needed. If we got more donations maybe there wouldn't have to be as many ads. As it is Davideo does a really great job of keeping them to a minimum. With the amount of traffic on the site he could have so many more ads to help him pay for everything needed on this site. As it is I know he spends a TON of money out of pocket to keep this site running and to always be adding new features/systems.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
