This is the biggest game for the Sega Genesis, over 13 levels, three playable characters, 14 special stages, and the first (and very likely the only) appearance of hyper Sonic and hyper Knuckles. The game was epic, and the cutscenes in Hidden Palace didn't suck at all! They were straight forward and simple to understand. Even though I have played and 100% the game as Sonic and Tails, Knuckles, and Tails alone. The game is huge and takes awhile to beat, let alone get all the super emeralds. This is one of my favorite Sonic games to play through again and again.

this game game has so many glitches I don't even now where to start. First, you can activate level select or debug mode two of which are my favorite codes.With both on, you can go to level select and play certain songs in a certain order and get all seven chaos emeralds. Then, you would press B and turn into a ring and place them until you have collected fifty total rings. Then, press B again to turn back into sonic, jump up and you will become super sonic. Plus if you get to a point where there is like a small step down get on the bottom in between a wall place a lot of super sonic boxes to your right go back to the point between the boxes and the wall and spin dash through all of them and the game should act weird. Finally, press start and the game will take you to the sonic and knux title screen while you still have debug mode on. Have fun.
