Well, NES has a lot of Classical games... But SNES got some great games with an awesome soundtrack.

Of both, I would choose NES, it's full of good and addictive games. Also, I grew up playing with one.

I prefer the SNES, the games seem much more in depth with characters and length. I haven't played a lot of NES but I can't find a game I can play for more than an hour at a time (except Legend of Zelda).

Snes no question. The NES has a lot of classic games and really good platformers but the SNES is basically a step up in everything: graphics, sound quality, game depth and more. On the SNES, the classics continued and expanded on. In addition, on the SNES,  RPGs really started developing into what they are today. Also, Chrono Trigger, Earthbound, and Terranigma, three of my favorite games, are all on the SNES.
