I went on Facebook and I went to my girlfriends profile. I was looking at her "About" page and I found out that her relationship status is not in there. I checked mine and it shows mine. We just put "in a relationship" and she doesn't have a relationship status. I am wanting to know if she is hiding her status from me or does she not want people to know about her relationship status.

Facebook sucks like that. That's why I never update my relationship status unless we are clear to everyone that we are dating. That way, if something happens, I know what she's telling me.

Sounds to me like she broke up with you, but I don't know. Facebook sucks.

This thread makes me so mad. How did someone's facebook status become something that you could actually worry about? She probably has it set to private accidentally, or she is trying to break up with you, in which case you should punch her in the face for being a spineless wuss.

I'd have to agree with Lazlo, especially about the face punching bit. But maybe you should be punched in the face too for thinking Facebook is so important and crucial in society that if something isn't on Facebook when you expect it to me, it's automatically the law of what's actually happening.

If you don't talk to her enough and can't tell if she's acting shady or trying to break away from you, and FACEBOOK is what tips you off that something might be up, then you're probably a lousy boyfriend. Do you guys keep in touch? Has she been acting weird, or hanging out more with other people? I'd say if she's been acting normal and affectionate, that her privacy settings are just messed up. You could always try... oh I don't know, talking to her about it, or going out and seeing how she acts. If she's quiet or seems distant or uncomfortable, I'd say you have reason to be suspicious. Until you have something a little more substantial, I'd try not to get too worried.

The best way to solve the issue is to ask her straight about your relationship.
Second is not to read too much about your girlfriend's action online. Maybe she just value her privacy on the internet that's why she doesn't update stuff like her relationship status in there. Chill dude. It's like not putting all your relative's name in facebook. That doesn't mean that you're ashamed of them or you want them out of your life; it could just mean that you don't want that kind of personal info about you available online.

I agree with everything that people have said... I would also add that just because you are in a relationship with someone does not mean they will remember to do everything that shows that she is in a relationship with you... People forget things it's in our nature... Also facebook means nothing... It's just a place for people to post about non-substantial things....  Facebook is lame... You should be interacting with your girlfriend on a personal level and talking to her etc...

Just ask her... It will probably turn out that she just didn't change it by accident...  and if she does break up with you... take Lazlo's and KG's advice.. (I'm kidding of course)
