Well, I realize that us old folk don't seem to fit in to this modern age, but I started my fascination with computers when I was in the Navy.  In the 1970s (yes, I know, that's before most of you were born) I bought an Apple II+ computer.  I knew people who had them and there was a lot of "Shareware" available in the gaming area.  My first real RPG game was Wizardry (which, by the way, is on this board!)  Apple computers were graphics based and the Wizardry game was an early pioneer in using the Apple hardware to enhance their game.  So, I played it -- a lot!
The arcade games in the 1970s were just beginning to use graphics heavily.  I remember playing Galaxia (I think that's the name) and the arcade version of Centipede by Atari.  I also had a bootleg copy of the Atari game for my Apple, but it was not as good as the arcade version.  Needless to say, I really like playing video games and have been doing so for a while, when I've been able.
I'm currently playing some PlayStation I games at home -- ChronoCross, Final Fantasy 8 and 9 and Tomb Raider 3.  These are a lot of fun and I've played them in the past, too.  All are RPG games where I enjoy solving the puzzles and fighting off the "beasts."  I'm also playing Civilization V on my PC, building empires and destroying enemies.  I like these types of games, too.
Well, that's a start.  I like this board and I like their games.  After Zelda, The Ocarina of Time, I plan on looking at some other old games I've played.  Some Resident Evil ones, Turok, and a few other ones I liked to play a decade ago.

   That's a little about me!

Phil Sims : Hi Phil, nice to meet you and welcome to Vizzed. I like the playstation 1 games but have played very little of the newer systems. Although i have played the xbox 360 kinect( the bowling), it's a pretty cool game even though you don't use a controller haha.
I may not be as old as you but i remember a lot of atari and my friend had a computer that i played kareteka on. Hit me up on my profile or even add me as a friend!
