This game is like the red and blue games except you start off with a pikachu. It's a good game overall and is one that I would recommend to Pokémon lovers. It follows the same plot as prior games, but you don't have to wander around looking for a pikachu.

Pokemon Yellow isn't quite you would call memorable, but its something closer to the Anime. Having Pikachu actually follow you, and have it react to things was pretty nice, but other than that, there's nothing to it.

Also, try to hit 100 words next time you want to review a game, or it'll be in Discussion.

I think that Pokémon Yellow is one of the best Pokémon games. It is not the best, but it follows pretty close to the anime. The protagonist wakes up late, and doest get a starter Pokémon. But the hero trys to go out anyways, and gets stopped by Professor Oak. "Stop! Don't go out!" he says. All the sudden a Pikachu pops out the wild. Prof. Oak catches it goes to the lab with the hero. He says" Take a Pokémon." You check all the Poke Balls, but there all empty. Then, Prof. Oak gives you the Pikachu, who is not tame yet. You head out on your epic adventure to become a Pokémon Master!

Story: 8.5
The reason I gave Pokémon Yellow a 8.5 rating for the story is because the whole "Your 10. Get a Pokémon. Go on an adventure," concept was still new. But I also rated it 8.5 because it was pretty cool it was based on the anime.

Game play: 9
I gave it a 9 for game play because it was fun when it first came out. With the cool new battle additions added from Red and Blue, it made the game a lot more enjoyable.

Addictiveness: 10
I'm not even going to explain this. You should just know Pokémon in general is adding ting.

Difficulty: 7
Again, not going to explain this.. Most of the Pokémon games are pretty easy. Nuff' said.

Overall Score: 8.5
I would recommend this to all Pokémon fans, but not to people who have not seen at least 10 Kanto anime episodes. You won't get ANYTHING!

Pokémon Yellow is my #1 favorite Pokémon game , this game is freakin awesome , its the only Pokémon game where you get to start off with Pikachu and you get Charmin , Squirt le and Bulbasaur easily.
