Google Chrome. The newest browser. It is no longer in beta. The creators of Google have always done crazy, but great things. But, is a browser just not crazy enough for them? Is it any good? Find out in: Rasenganfan2 reviews Google Chrome!
OK, time for joking aside. Chrome doesn't really have a toolbar. It has little options that you open up to show functions that would normally be in the toolbar. For say, it doesn't have the whole "File, Tools, Etc." options at the top of the browser. Instead, it has a little wrench icon where things that are like the file and all those options are stored.
This browser gives you almost all of your screen to view the website. This allows people with small screens to see more than they would with another browser.
The speed is great! Chrome is so fast, that it doesn't even have the little load bar. All it says is "Transferring Data from (insert URL here)". Believe me, Chrome has great speed. It's the 2nd fastest browser out there. Opera is still faster, but we're not talking about Opera.
You can easily open new tabs because the tab bar is up at the very top of the screen. All you do to open a new tab is click a little + icon. Unlike browsers like Firefox, each tab is basically a window. It runs on its own engine meaning that not only does it not lag all your tabs, but if the tab crashes, the window won't crash.
The browser opens up a page called "New Tab" each time you open Chrome. It shows all of your most visited sites so you can just click on the little window on the page and go to that site. Or, if you want Youtube for your homepage, you can easily change it.
Really, I learned all about how to use this browser in 1 hour. It took me countless hours to learn this much about Firefox.
Because it remembers the sites you've been to, you can just type in a letter and it will show what it thinks you're typing. Like for me, because i am a Youtube junkie, i type in "y" and it will show up "Youtube.com" and all i have to do is press the enter key and it takes me to Youtube.
It is also extremely secure. It notifies you when the site you go to has viruses/malware. I don't know many details about the security, other than it's darn secure.Seriously, it's as safe as Firefox.
Speed: 4/5
Security: 5/5
Useability: 5/5
All in all: 5/5
