Hi, this is my first day here.  I got here because I was telling someone about an old Apple game.  On looking it up I found myself here!

As a child of the 80s, I loved the old Apple 2e games, and look forward to playing them here, from Karateka to Ultima 4 (though without cheating to give myself the cool weapons, not sure if I have the patience anymore).

I tried a couple of games though, and a window popped up with the message:  "You must press Reset to start the game..."  I tried pressing every key on my keyboard, but nothing registered it.  What am I missing?

There should be a little restart  next to pause/unpause and close. Anyway, welcome to vizzed!

JeffEdL : There is a grey button labeled "Reset" at the bottom of the game window directly above the text you quoted in your original post. Hit that, give it a min to load, and you should be playing your game in no time.

Hmmm, so I when I went to an Atari2600 game it opened a screen with buttons and a chat section (though none of the buttons were active), but while it said it was loading the game, it never did...

When I clicked on an Apple 2 game, I get a different screen...all I have is a black window with this as the total copy:
You should see an Apple ][+ here.
You must press 'Reset' to start the game
Controls vary depending on game, since this is a computer based system, it may use any key but Shift, Ctrl, Enter/Return and Spacebar are the primary keys

The top line "You should see"  is hidden unless I am copying it.

I also tried Zelda on the NES and I got a black screen with text controls listed on the right side, but no game ever loaded nor was there instructions or a place to click...

Starting to wonder if it's my computer or I'm an idiot...

Btw, tried this in Firefox and Chrome, updated Java, downloaded and installed the plug in.  My OS is Vista 64 bit if that matters...
