I do not think there is much you can do to increase a web browser's capabilities. All I can suggest, for Firefox, would be to disable (not delete) any browser addons you do not need most of the time. Close any other applications and programs you do not need to leave open.

Other than this, I recommend using Google Chrome if speed is what you need. I have Chrome, Firefox, and IE. Chrome has performed, on average, the fastest of these three for my typical Internet usage. I like Firefox and their non-profit organization, but the browser just has not operated fast enough and Adobe Flash crashes every so often in Firefox.

A lot of the times you don't realize it but applications that you downloaded about a month ago still open by itself even if you didn't mean for it to. It would open behind your back, so to speak. Anyway basically just clean out unwanted stuff you don't use, best advice I could give.

I think the only way to speed up your internet speed is to download an anti - virus software .. Removing viruses is a good way to speed up your internet and also a good way to lessen your anger ..
