Hey my name is Rowan last initial is D but I made it into a pun with D20, I love games and when I found this website I decided to try it out, but I cant seem to play anything! When ever I click play game and the page pops up I wait some time but instead of playing it seems to go to the vizzed homepage, the same thing happens when I try to download the vizzed plug in. Someone help me

RowanD20 : Hmm that's seems strange. Does this happen for all systems that you have tried? Which games have you tried so far?

I would suggest starting over. Close browser. Uninstall plugin. Download newest version of plugin, install With browser still CLOSED. Open Chrome, try out a game. Try a smaller file at first like a gameboy or NES game. See if that works.

If this doesn't work make sure your drivers are up to date on your video card, and that you have the latest version of direct x and .net

well you see i cant download it, it keeps redirecting me to the main page instead of downloading

RowanD20 : What browser and operating system are you trying to install this with? Keep in mind that the RGR plugin is not compatible with Mac

I have tried on both chrome my default browser, and explorer, both do the some thing, and I use windows 7

RowanD20 : Hmm is it possible that the windows user you are logged in as does not have write access to the drive? Maybe your Anti virus software is blocking it?? I have tested the link in Firefox as well as Chrome and it comes up, downloads, and works fine.

My only other suggestion would be to try downloading in Firefox and seeing if that works.

Jordanv78 : well I was able to download the plug in and before that I was able to play two game, one of which this very morning but I'm unable to play anything, including those, now

RowanD20 : So you were able to download the plugin and now games just wont load for you, or what? Please tell me a little bit about what the problem is that you are having now, and for what games/systems.

Jordanv78 : ha sorry but it really is the same problem, when I open a game without plug in it redirects to vizzed home page, when I open up with plug in it stops loading and at button says error failed to download file. I have been trying out a few games on multiple systems and the games that used to work are legend of Zelda and earthbound. I appreciate u helping me

RowanD20 : So the install for the RGR plugin was successful and now the games don't load? I've never heard of this re-direct you are referring to. Please post a screenshot if possible.

Jordanv78 : well I'm not sure what changed but some games are 'allowing' me to play them but I do have the screen shots. These are all with chrome.

RowanD20 : Take a screen cap of your browser, upload it to a photo sharing site like Photobucket, then post the link to your reply.

As I said before see if Firefox allows you to open the game. Do the Java emulators work for you at all?

here are two pictures one with plug in one with java emulator. Notice the error message on the bottom of plug in one. And I do not have firefox on my computer. And on games that do work. Both the java emulator and the plug in work

RowanD20 : I do notice the screenshots although that really didn't really help find what your issue might be.

If uninstalling and re-installing the plugin didn't work. Your Video card Drivers are up to date as well as DirectX...then the next step would be to try Firefox. A lot of times when people are using chrome, they switch to Firefox and it magically works...and vice versa.

I know this sounds strange because they work in both browsers for most users, but we have to eliminate any possibility.

You could also try this:

C:Users(NAME OF USER ACCOUNT)AppDataLocalLowVizzedRgr

Click Roms, and delete every file that matches the name of the game you were trying to play.
Click back, then click on downloads, and once again delete every file that has the name of the game you're having problems with. Then go play the game, and make sure you let it load all the way till it's playing, don't close the emulator or the window before the game has loaded up, or you'll probably need to do all this again.
