I just bought the genesis model one at disc traders. I only have HD Tvs one Lcd and one Plasma. I cant get the rf cable to work. If I buy a RCA  ( yellow white red) cord will that help?

I''m pretty sure that the 1st model has a composite video input, so yeah it would work providing that your TV has an A/V setting.
