As a proud owner of both games I would say both..I like him on both. I suppose that he's more powerful on Uprising because of the insanely huge bosses that he defeats.

I have played both of the Kid Icarus games and the first one being a 2D game was pretty good and very difficult. I personally loved playing Kid Icarus Uprising for the difficulty modifier throughout the entire game and having so many options into weapon combinations to get better and more valuable weapons to help you progress throughout the game. Having so many different goals and missions makes the game fun because people go back and play missions with specific goals to accomplish in mind as they play through the level and try to meet the requirements given for that award. Overall Kid Icarus Uprising was a great way to revive and keep Kid Icarus alive and kicking.
