About a year ago I was browsing YouTube and found the popular Ronald McDonald insanity vid and became hooked on Touhou music (Which is by the way Amazing). I eventually downloaded Subbterean Animism and started playing (And by Playing I mean dying. Alot) The Touhou series consist of about 15 or so games, mostly Shmup (Shoot em up) games with a two fighting games and a soccer game. The Touhou series is known for Having a devoted fan-base and very difficult games. For an accurate representation of high level play please check out this  video

I find this hilarious, because I only started here a couple weeks ago and wondering if anyone knew about it, myself.

Just didn't want to force it on anyone, because that's the kind of person I am and was just waiting for the opportunity to come. Maybe that or that I feel sometimes the community can be a bit out of hand and feel I shouldn't be introducing it to the wrong people. Welp, that's just my thoughts only.

Anyways, yes, I am very familiar with the series. I usually follow every Japan event that's has immense content on it (reitaisai, comiket etc.); since I just absolutely love arranges of the original themes (which are very great as well; don't get me wrong).

Ok, I'll stop rambling on now, since I seem to do that constantly... lol.

Dualage: lol that's pretty ironic, I'm considering getting into serious fandom and following stuff like Comiket. Do you know if ZUN is working on any new games? I know that expecting him to is asking way too much though.

It's confirmed that he is not releasing a game this year, due to both financial issues and his recent marriage. However, he is releasing another music album for C82 featuring both re-enhanced Touhou themes and original themes.

There's also another issues regarding trademarking that happened recently. A company took hold and trademarked the name "Touhou Project" since ZUN didn't do so himself. As unfortunate as that sounds, it's not all that bad. All he needs to do is change the name of the series. Characters and everything else are all protected since they are "his" creations and are protected by copyright. Exceptions to a majority of the PC-98 characters, of course.
