This game is a short and small game but an amazing advance for NES. The overall amazingness is higher then 10, but i can only rate it 10 . It's the best NES game on the site (That I've seen...) and is a nice small game that takes no effort.

Graphics: Eh....3

The graphics are still pixels and at some points look terrible, but at most points there is a clear picture of what is happening in the game, but they are still just old Nintendo graphics. Not advanced for now, but advanced at the time.

Sound:10
The music in the background,one of the most important parts,is a nice Japanese tune played on the NES horn. It goes along perfectly with this short story and changes when the mood changes or a different event happens. It makes the game much better. Without it, the game would be some pixels moving. You wouldn't understand the story. This music puts together the whole entire game. And the tune is fun and fits in the game perfectly. The game would rate much lower if it weren't for the music.

Addictiveness:10

The game itself is pretty addictive. You watch it the first time, just to observe the game. Then you notice it repeats. You press start and then it shows the customization board. You move some stuff around then test it. You love and/ or hate it. You move it around some more...and some more... and some more until you realize it's 1:07 in the morning. True story for me.... Nah, just kidding. Well anyway, it is pretty fun to play and some times you turn this game on and listen to the music for hours not looking a the screen. I read half of Catching Fire just listening to this music.

Story:10. It all starts with an apple. Each part of the story changes and is unrelated. Like the apple turns into a witch with and apple. She eats it and the core turns into a person. Stuff like that. It's not a very long story and it has no dialogue, so you can possibly make up a story with the pictures. The music adds a nice layer of story to this game, giving it a Japanese feel. All together, 2 minute games don't have this good of a story.This is a pretty good story for about a 2 minute game

Not that big of a game. You can customize the story but that's about it.Like I've said, It's a 2 minute game. They don't have that much depth do they? No, not really

Difficulty:1
It not hard at all. You need nothing to play this game besides the a button and the start button. And all you do is watch the game and customize it with colors. Not that hard at all. It takes no amount of skill to play this game. Anyone of any age can play this game.


OVERALL:10
It's a nice short game that is really fun. The music and game play are great for a 2 minute NES game.Most of the game is pretty fun and interesting. Trust me, you'll be playing it a lot for a 2 minute NES game(I use that a lot,don't I?)

mjabcd1234 : This is a good review and nicely spaced. I'd read more of your reviews. However, seeing your review and coming to the conclusion that you aren't aware of this, I sort of feel like I have to tell you that there is no story to this (it was meant to showcase characters and advertise the series) and it's a relatively new game that's just been put in the form of an NES game. It's basically the music video of the song Bad Apple for the bullet hell series Touhou. You should check it out and aquaint yourself with it. The actual song, which is Japanese, is pretty good, and Touhou is a good series with interesting characters.
