Oh, and uh, some abuse their powers, some don't. I saw a mod restart a mute 4 times. I can understand him muting us and shet, (we were being general donkeys) but 4 times is overkill.


I'd also like to address another issue, the 13+ age limit. I mean, I know the laws, but maybe we could have a trust points system or stuff.

Cause COME ON THERE IS NO ONE ANYWHERE.

There's no way this will work unless you directly address skeptics and reasonably explain why you think things are bad enough to warrant this, Mega.

And nuking a chat room because there's a little drama is insane. Especially when it's being proposed by someone who's never in chat, and has no firsthand experience of the problem he wants to solve. Things are typically fairly civil, and most people who spend a lot of time in there would be surprised to see a thread like this.

It shouldnt be neccesary for mods to be dealing with it, the 13+ rule was suposed to increase the maturity and the odd one that decides to act out should be geting ignored and calmly reported by the others if they are actualy any better than the mods theyre complaining about.
As for the mod abuse, i know nothing about it and couldnt even guess whos within the acused but if it is true they need to
1. Defuse there god complex and realise its a small (in the grand scheme of things) community, they arent bosses of some major corporation, its the internet.
Or if its simply having low thresholds then
2. Think before they act and realise theyre suposed to be impartial, geting visibly irked isnt a great idea.
Everyone just needs to take a step back and chill, the constant bickering is tiresome. Some of the acusations i read are just ridiculous.
If you are unhappy then having a calm discussion is the way to solve it, not protesting against the drama by creating drama, thats like trying to extinguish a fire by dousing it in gasoline.

thenumberone : The corporation is supposed to be "small" and the community is supposed to control the corporation, like the US government. When I was a newbie in chat I got help, respect, and care. Up until the weeks before the 13+ rule I got treated badly by people higher ranks than me..

I think it's a case of people blowing things out of proportion. It's not that bad, and most of the time it's a few regulars cracking jokes and talking about random things. I haven't seen any big arguments in a long time.

And I agree with you about this. Rather than making a big deal out of something and calling this a revolution, it would serve better to just discuss what the problems are and try to work together to solve them.

Half of is true, and half of it isn't. Some mods abuse their powers like a butt, and some of them make it seem like a good mod is just a  sweet dream, you can't base all of them off of it. Some actually have reasons. Some of us are complete donkey-holes and go "LOLOLOLOLOLOL".  But really, not all of us. I also thought this was a joke in some ways. I mean, come on, a thread about revolution? If the mods were so "I'mma kill you if you look at me the wrong way" they'd close it and it'd be PERMABAN FOR EVARYONE. It's, well, not very smart. PM'ing them would work just as well. By the way I've looked at things with my short time here, it's not that bad. It's a small, friendly community where everyone gets to know everyone pretty quick. There's bias against newbs, and that's just normal for a board. You have to work for the right to be taken seriously.







This is why my 200 word post will not be taken seriously. Good day.





P.S. : To the man who wants to nuke the chat- well, to do that, you would have to hunt down each computer. But, you seem distraught.

First off I will not say fore or against this revolution idea.

I am just here to admit my own faults by getting upset over a group of people. I would let it roll off me for months then last week or so it got to a point I just blew up. Note I did not use any of my powers when I blew up. I just said something bad and left. I do feel bad that I said anything and I should of just left.

Now some of you said why didn't you just put them on ignore? Well mods can't do that... Also I was still in rage mode and one of my friends talked to me about it but he did so in profile not in pm and I was so upset I didn't even think to switch it over to pm so that just made things worse!

Point of story now. We are human we all have our faults. Also we all will blow up at times and make things worse. There are ways we should always keep in our minds to minimize these fights. What I have learned from my own faults is that to just get out of the chat when things look bad, if you can not deal with another member and they haven't done anything to get in trouble and it's just between you two then just stick to chat pm between friends. Avoid contact with the person at all cost. Those of you who are not mods can use the ignore function in chat to ignore the member you are not getting along with.

Now if you have a problem with a mod always send logs to the global mods. As long as it's not flaming the situation will be handled properly.

Also if you have notice that you get muted/kicked while the fight is started by someone else, it is true that we must punish both sides of the fight. Keep this in mind when you retaliate in a conflict.

I just hope you all understand what I am saying and if you do have any serious questions I will answer them.

The us is pretty much run by corporations, they give you an election choice of black or grey and convince you that youre getting a real choice.
And corporations dont get run by the community,they serve there own agenda. As i said, vizzed is not a corporation.
As for being treated badly how many of them were actualy mods? Report them every time, id certainly take it seriously if i was seeing people being picked on.
I remember a certain individual who made fun of me for being a low rank and wasnt impressed at the resolution but there you go.
Im a higher rank than you but i havent been rubing your face in it, i think your point isnt one about mods so much as flaming, did you report all these incidents?

Actually it seems like most of the people agreeing to this are random newbies that are jumping on the bandwagon (even people go aren't old enough to go into chat. 0.o)

I agree that newbies need to be treated better, and mods sometimes should be a little less trigger-happy, myself included.

I just believe making a dramatic event of all of it is the worst way to change anything.
