Which do you like better and be honest cause there is a way I could tell you are lying but that is a secret. But I personally like pokemon better.

I'd say both I like Pikachu   and   Sonic

I'm going to move this over to Video Game Crazyness, because it fits in more over there. I think. Maybe franchises but I don't really venture into the video game fora that much, so hopefully the Local mods over there can sort it out. Sorry if I made extra work for you guys. (Or your welcome, if you're not quite meeting your quotas.

I choose Pokémon all day everyday over sonic! Don't get me wrong sonic is cool but it just can not compete with Pokémon. The Pokémon games and show are way better than sonic and have a larger fan base. 

I have to say I like them equally.  Sonic has story, pokemon is an addictive portable game.

Odd little competition I must say, but different nevertheless.

However, I must say that I'm more in favor of Pokémon, mainly due to personal reasons/opinion. Can't say which is better, because I'd rather not have people tailing me all over it =.

Anyways, the reason I like Pokémon more, myself, is because it was basically my childhood. As much as I loved old Sega sonic games, when I first started Pokémon, I was hooked. Then when Gold/Silver were released, that was it. I finally devoted myself to becoming a full-fledged Pokémon fan. After Ruby and Sapphire came out it wasn't possible to ever turn back. Every new Pokémon game that comes out, I usually enjoy it. Even some of the spin-offs are good, like mystery dungeon (which is how I discovered the merciless Fushigi no Dungeon series). 

At the same time, Sonic games were good, then just went to hall after Sonic '06. Even with generations reviving sonic closer to what he used to be in terms of games, it still wasn't enough. Oh well, I guess it's just not for me, is all.

I have to agree though. Pokemon.

Sonic hasn't had many great new games aside from Sonic Generations. Before that, their last good game was Sonic Adventure 2.

With pokemon, the only crappy game I've played was Black and White. All the other games were at least worth playing through. Luckily a new release is out every year or so with them.

Even if Pokémon is a good game, it's gets boring to me some times... RPGs aren't my thing.

I personally prefer pokemon over sonic. Actually I've never really played a sonic game lol xD

more but I like them both They are awesome .

When I was like 6 y/o I already played Pokémon games like, Pokémon silver, Pokémon yellow etc.
So basically I grew up with Pokémon, which is in my opinion an amazing game!
I'm not sure about sonic, I love the series sonic has! But the games are not that good as those from Pokémon.

I've played a few Sonic games and they are not that great in my opinion, although I guess to a lot of people Sonic is cool, I just prefer my always loving Pokemon!

I like pokemon more simply because it has more variety. If sonic was more like an RPG, where you could learn new moves and skills, I would like it a lot more,

Depends, if it's the classic Sonic, I pick Sonic, the most recent Sonic games are not really cool.
If it's the recent Sonic I'd pick Pokémon, I liked that game more than the recent Sonic games.

Well, Pokémon games are excessively done. It's pretty much always the same thing.

"Go to this town, get stopped half way to the first gym by a 'cult', continue on, win, bad guy queued! Next 2 gyms, Bad guys!" Et-cetera.

Last Pokémon game I played (Official), was...fire-red, so after that gen I have no idea, It's just all the same thing every time and gets really boring.

I suppose you could say the same thing about sonic, depending on if it is 3D or 2D, I suppose. But Sonic has that extra push of challenging the user, actually give them challanges, get the adrenaline running by getting through [X] within [X] amount of time with(out) [X]. It just makes you push yourself, in wanting to come out on-top, and whatnot.

As for Pokémon, I suppose there is some wi-fi battles, but it is more trouble than it's worth, at-least, I find it to be like that, just a personal opinion.

I don't like Pokémon so Sonic is a default ( I love Sonic, anyways).

I like pokemon better because it is funner to play.

Sonic hands down.  Pokemon is cool and all but Sonic is just so much cooler.  He is blue and a headchog.  Haha
