Ive always been a fan of all the old nes classics. Meteoroid happens to be one of my favorites its a very good seek and destroy shooter type game with a extreme and heavy arsenal. With a lot of hidden items. With a syfy. Type of story to it the meteoroid games on snes are more graphic and better layed out with some added tricks you can perform. Like wall jumps and the super run also the weapons are much better and some of the enemies are much better than in the original. Never the less from the original to eris 12 there all very great classics and there a must beat it on my page. Fell free to post what you think about any of the meteoroid games that you have played and things you would like to see come of the meteoroid series.

I think you meant "Metroid" when you were typing "Meteoroid" ;-)

I love the Metroid Series ever since the first one on NES. A often forgotten Gem is Metroid II on Gameboy. Even though it's black and white it's a HUGE game for a handheld and brought a lot of cool new things to the series.

I tried this hack you have linked, it's ok but I prefer the real Super Metroid better.

HIM on suomalainen, viisihenkinen rockia ja metallia soittava yhtye. Yhtye itse kuvailee musiikkiaan ”love metallic”, kriitikot usein alternative rockiksi, hard Rockiksi, goottirockiksi, metallic tai popiksi. Bändin genreä on vaikea määrittää lähinnä yhtyeen tasaisen musiikillisen tyylivaihtelun vuoksi. Tosin suurin osa yhtyeen tuotannosta on yhdistellyt raskassointisia kitaroita popahtavin melodiakierroin. HIM saavutti ensimmäisenä suomalaisena yhtyeenä Yhdysvalloissa kultalevyn albumillaan Dark Light (2005).[1] Yhtye on myös myynyt hopeaa muun muassa Isossa-Britanniassa Love Metal -albumillaan, sekä Yhdysvalloissa Venus Doomilla. HIM on kaikkien aikojen kaupallisesti menestynein suomalaisyhtye. HIMin levymyynti on karkeasti arvoituna noin seitsemän ja kymmenen miljoonan kappaleen välillä.[2] Yhtyeen johtohahmo on laulaja Ville Valo.
Yhtyeen suurimpia kappaleita ovat ”Join Me in Death”, ”Poison Girl”, ”Right Here in My Arms”, ”Wings of a Butterfly”, ”Killing Loneliness”, ”Your Sweet 666”, ”In Joy and Sorrow”, ”Wicked Game” (cover), ”Buried Alive by Love”, ”The Kiss of Dawn” ja ”The Funeral of Hearts”. Yhtyeen keulakuva Ville Valo on sanonut yhtyeen esikuviksi seuraavia kokoonpanoja: Kiss, Iggy and The Stooges, Iron Maiden, Type O Negative, The Sisters of Mercy ja Cathedral.

BrittanyNicole : Two was slightly better then prime in my opinion. The storyline was a lot better and clearer then the first. The Gameplay remains slightly similar, you do get some new abilities not from the first such as Screw Attack (although its kind of bland), different suits (although most of the time you just wear 1 suit for nearly half the game), and different beam/missiles. The enemies have some interesting designs, bosses are pretty interesting, and the enviornment is really pretty (for a Gamecube game anyways).

Oldschool41 : oh well it sounds pritty good. I'll have to play it some time It sounds interesting. And I have this thing about playing all the games that were originals from the nes. Oh talking about some pritty graphics. The bionic commando game on the 360. There is a area in the woods I think its some kinda park or something. But its so beautiful and realistic. I had to stop playing and enjoy  the view for a bit.

Loved Super Metroid, even though it is the only Metroid game I ever played.

Super Beam Glitch.... ahhh... it's one of my top ten favorite glitches of all time, actually. That glitch is just so plain weird, yet so much fun to use~

BrittanyNicole :

Well, the Super Beam glitch can permanently screw up not just your save, so I'd suggest only doing it once you're pretty much done with the game. It can literally do almost everything as far as messing up the game goes. Even resetting your save file to the prologue back on the spaceship; but keeping all of your gear (meaning you can collect ALL the items again and rinse and repeat until you eventually have an insane amount of super missiles and what not).

Well anyways, to do the glitch, (which is also nicknamed the murder beam for pretty much murdering the game itself) and it's actually pretty easy to pull off as far as glitch mechanics go.

You have to get all the beams and all the items (not like every missile canister or energy tank or like that, but suits, jump boots, etc). On the weapon select screen where you see the suit of Samus with all the different beam options and stuff, highlight the plasma beam and press Left + A. It may take a while for it to work but it will. When it does work, all the beams will be highlighted and "VAR" should be above the Spazer beam.

Make sure you are facing left and charging your beam before trying to do the glitch. After you do the glitch, you can only fire left or it WILL freeze. Using Super bombs with the murder beam on will also freeze the game. When you fire the murder beam it should stay in the location from where you fire it, which deals amazing quantities of damage.

To reset the game using this glitch, you go to Old Tourian, go to the yellow door (the shortcut room) and enter inside. This is when you activate the glitch, shoot the door with the 'murder beam' turn around and then shoot again. The hud on the top of the screen should become pretty messed up and Old Tourian should be misty like it was at the beginning of the game. Once it is, turn the Murder beam off, and go and save the game and turn it off. When you load the file, you should be back at the very beginning of the game whilst having the Screw Attack and wearing the Gravity Suit. You will be missing your Missiles, but every other item should still be there.

The glitch is quite fun to use on Mother Brain. You can REALLY screw up and mess the logic of that fight. Heck, you can fight while the Metroid is giving you health; that really makes the game go wonky.
