I have an 8-pack, but it seems to be fading away.  What is the best ab exercise to get them back?

As an avid workout enthusiast, I usually workout out 8 hours a week, I recommend Russian twist and Ab bridge. Both tone and tighten your abs and are way more effective than crunches or sit ups.

SamB : I've never heard of the Russian twists. Do explain.  Perhaps I've seen it before but just never heard the name.

You basically take a 25 pound or 45 pound plate and move across your body while sitting down with your legs raised. If you have a weak back you should start light and work your way up to prevent injury.

Holding a 45 pound weight and performing twists are a good example, but you may also use the weighted ab machine(if you have gym membership), or go on You Tube and copycat the P90X videos if you don't already own the ab disc.

I recommend that you go run a little bit and then after that hurry up and go and do some sit ups. I think it will work better if you do it as quickly as you can.
