Hi, um, I was wondering which of the two emulators you get to choose from when playing Nintendo 64 games are best.
Are there any pros and cons, or is one overall better than the other.
Thanks in advance.

Basically some games will work better than the other based on the default memory size that each emulator loads games in. 1964 will load games in 4MB while Mupen64 will load them in 8MB.

*Z* : I personally prefer the 1964 emulator just because as of now that is the only one that allows for you to configure a controller to work with it. MUPEN is nice though because it allows save states. 1964 you can save your game, but it has to be IN-Game.

It really is give and take. I notice that more of the games work better for the Mupen64 and you can use save states, but you can't configure the controls right now. The1964 emulator allows you to configure controls, but saves must be made in game and it tends to lag more for most games compared to Mupen. With control configuration an issue, it just depends on what is most important to you.

Yeah, as had been said, Mupen64 in the RGR supports save states, and 1964 doesn't. I forgot about that.
