I just started playing Pokemon Blue for the original Gameboy on my Mac. I used the Java option to run the game. It says that Java will only save on systems that originally supported it, which means now I can't save. The other option only runs on Windows. What would be my alternative? Thanks.

There really isn't anything you can do, unless you want to set up a virtual machine. If you can set up a Windows VM, you can play in that and you should be able to use the Java saves within it. Other than that, I'm pretty sure there's nothing else to be done. Except for buying a PC, which is better anyway.
