Super Paper Mario. The game. It just...took my breath away. And not in the way i hoped. Before Paper Mario was an RPG where you fought with turns. Now, its a side scroller like the original super mario bros. It still has it to where you can level up and upgrade your abilities. But thats the only RPG aspect of the game. There is no turn based fighting. Instead of having the 3d environment, they have a 2d environment and give you a power where you can change the environment to 3d for a short time to find secrets. They just murdered it.

I thought it was an amazing game. All the writing was still there, the platforming was fun, the bosses interesting.

Only real bad thing was lackluster 3D environments.

I love this game. It's awesome. It's still an RPG.

Paper Mario 1 and 2 is two of the best RPG games by far, hell just the story makes and humor make them really really awesome.

Ahhh... Paper Mario. That was like 3 years ago for me. I was SO obsessed with it. My firend had it on his Gamecube, I did not have a Gamecube. I WANTED TO PLAY. REALLY FREAKING BADLY. So when we were traveling, at every Hotel it's ask if they have a Gamecube with Paper Mario that I could play. It was usually a yes.

lol i have most systems made. I never really got to play Paper Mario 1 until recently. I think i might give Super Paper Mario another try. If you have a Wii and are able to go online, go to the virtual console and buy it(its the first). You'll need a gamecube or a classic controller to play it though. I love Paper Mario.

Well,its the fact that its 3D. It was made for the N64 so its 3d. It would be a real hassle to try and play it with a wiimote. And plus: You need something for the C buttons that the N64 had. So, the wiimote just isn't able to play Paper Mario. The classic controller is great for most games on there. I bought it and its a great remake of the SNES controller.
