Before I start, this is my first ever post to use pictures, but please enjoy the article.

The great NES, it brought millions of kids and people to the gaming era. It was the best of it's time, it had a bunch of great games, a little bit of the hundreds of games were bad, like "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde", *shudders* you even have others like the 2 X-men games made by the infamous LJN, the "rainbow of death".

How did the NES start?

In 1980, with Atari's Atari 2600, a ton of bad games started to take effect. Perfect examples of the worst games ever made were "Pac-Man" on the 2600, and "ET: The Extra Terresial" on the 2600.

In 1983, a video game crash occured, and guess who caused it! Atari! Also, their low quality games. Because of the game crash, it caused the systems to completely stop selling games.

But, in 1985, Nintendo had a single chance to stop this game crash once and for all. They made a system that was so good, it helped stop the game crash COMPLETELY. It was...

THE NES!!!

Nintendo had released tons of games for the NES during its life span of 8-9 years. The best game on the NES had to be...

Super Mario Bros!

That game was released in the September of 1985. It was ranked #2 for alltime best selling game. It was beaten by Wii Sports 24 years later by a few million copies.

In 1990, while Nintendo was working on making more NES games, they wanted to create a new console that would be a 16-bit console. It was being developed...

In 1991, they finally finish their new console and guess what it is...

The Super Nintendo!

In 1993, since Nintendo was working on making games for 2 systems at once, Nintendo released their last NES games before in 1994, they stopped selling the NES console, which is sad because it was the most memorable system by a lot of people. It was shut down and Nintendo continued making SNES games.

Anyone who owns a real NES, you people either got it from Ebay, or you bought it during the NES lifespan. If you bought one in the lifespan, you are so lucky you got one. If not, you could always find some ROM games on Vizzed for the NES and play them in the RGR.

Thanks for reading my article, hope you enjoyed it.
