I am having the same problem. Where does your game get frozen at? 

Because mine gets frozen when i try and talk to Jessie when they capture Lickitung. It also freezes when i am at the breeding center. Really pissing me off because i don't think i can progress in the game unless i beat team Rocket at the Breeding Center because the guy who takes you to Cinnabar island wont let me pass.

This used to happen to me, have you tried to use the other emulator?
