My favorite video game series is final fantasy and my favorite final fantasy is final fantasy 7

mine would be legend of zelda but i love the smash bros series i could play brawl for hours and never get tired brawl happens to be my favorite

With me, there's only 3 real contenders. Sonic, Metal Gear and The Legend of Zelda. Sonic for the speed and epic gameplay, Metal Gear fro the story and Zelda for everything else really.

My favorite video game series would be Street fighter. The characters are unique and fun to play, except Ken.

Well my favorite video game series have to be mario socom, ace combat, and the super smash bros. series. All these game are fun to play and most of it have a great story.

Zelda and Uncharted series are pretty fun and addictive though I have many other games I love playing too. My current addictions are Zelda Skyward Sword and Uncharted 3 Drake's Deception.

well, at the moment I have four favourites: Sonic the Hedgehog, The Legend of Zelda, Final Fantasy and last but not least Metal Gear Solid. I love all of them as-with the exception of Sonic- I played them alot when I was young

The Metroid series as a whole would most likely be my favorite. That or Fallout.

The Legend of Zelda, by far.  I've gotten obsessed from the start.  It may be how I even got here.  I was looking for a place where I could play old Zelda games.  That's how obsessed I am about them.

I really enjoy the Silent Hill series, I'm currently on a mission to play all of them since I finished 'Downpour' for the PS3.  I am currently playing the first in the series for PSX. I like them because of the horror elements they put into them. For some reason I don't like scary movies though, I only like the games, it's kind of weird.

My number one series is and I believe always will be Dragon Warrior/Quest. It taught me how to read better, got me very fascinated with medieval plot lines with magic and mystical creatures, and one of the games made me feel like the characters were real people when I was little. This is the series I will buy consoles for.

Number two would need to be the Mario series. Mario has been with me since I was about 3 or 4 years old, I am not going to abandon him now. I have several games of the series, and although I am far from an expert in Mario games (where as Dragon Warrior/Quest, I find myself very well learned), I know well enough how to play and that with perseverance, I should be able to beat any Mario game.

Third is a tough call between Super Smash Brothers and the Chrono series, so let's say they are a tie for third. Smash brothers intrigued me the first day I played it at my cousins' house on Nintendo 64. A friend of their brought it over for us to play, and I was instantly hooked. At first I sucked something awful, but after a few fights, I was ticking them all off with how I used Luigi. This evolved in Melee where I annoyed people with Peach and eventually Brawl. The game just kept me coming back for more! Sometimes the game can help me settle my mood while other times it may infuriate me, but it has something in it that just makes me want to continue playing.

The Chrono series, such as Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross, just surprised me with the story line. Chrono Trigger had that adventurous spirit with the right amount of emotional playing, such as seeing the world destroyed, while Chrono Cross just tugged at my heart strings with some of the drama characters suffered through (as well as learning the fate of a certain member of the Trigger Trio). Because they are no longer making the series (or so I have heard), it downplays a little how much I like it; I can only play the old games so many times! It still remains a treasure in my heart, despite people saying Chrono Cross stunk.

I suppose the Pokémon series takes number 5; I do not consider myself a die-hard fan of the series, but I make time to eventually get through every game. I grew tired of the series when people started making the game not fun with Tier-ing up the Pokémon. I enjoy playing with my favorites and that is that! I do like some strategy involved in it, but feel like every strategy has been found in the games over the years, eliminating any chance of new ones, which deeply bothers me. Still, Pokémon helped me when I was going through a dry spell with Dragon Warrior and it has kept my attention over the years, so it certainly deserves a place in my heart.

drag00n365 :  YES! I agree I really enjoy Fire Emblem, although there isn't a lot of control to the characters I like the strategy that goes into it!
