   As we all know, Nintendo and Game Freak have been working their butts off making the generation after this gen. But eventually, they won't have any ideas, and they will stop making a next gen. I'm not saying it's gonna be anytime soon, nor am I saying they'll stop making Pokemon, but eventually, it'll end... But when? When do you think it'll end?

I don't think it'll end. The generations won't end. They might think of some Pokemon, but we're going to have to see after Black and White 2 if they'll move on to the next Gen.

Well considering how utterly ridiculous some of the Pokemon from Gen. 5 look (e.g. Garbador and Vanillish), I don't think they're ever going to stop making Pokemon. If they made a Pokemon out of a pile of garbage and an ice cream cone, they'll probably make a Pokemon out of anything.

The only way Nintendo is going to stop making new generations is if the fans of Pokemon show absolutely no interest in the new Generations. I highly doubt that's ever going to happen. People like me who were raised with the original 150 and 250 are going to stop caring after a while, but there are always new generations of children Nintendo can sell to.

Granted I was born in 92' so I grew up with the original 151 as sad as it is being a gamestop worker I always buy the games. Gen 5 had some very good pokemon like Hydreigon. I won't deny him being a beast. However I think it should end here as much as I know it won't. They should remake the games they have into better quality. Such as they are talking about remaking Rube and Sapphire for the 3DS that would be kind of epic. Another I think they should try is to continue with the Pokemon Colloseum franchise with the Shadow Pokemon. The story kind of ended and I think playing Pokemon on the big screen was Semi entertaining. Perhaps they should try and make a Pokemon game that features all the regions and you actually go on a journey, kind of like the anime. Once you finish one Pokemon League you leave your pokemon with your professor  and go to the next. Perhaps start with new ideas, not new Pokemon.
