My birthday is coming up on the 31st, and I want to look for some PS3 and 3DS games to give ideas to my parents to get me.  I am asking of you guys if you know any good Single Player PS3 games, or and 3DS game that would be a really cool game to play.

Uncharted series
White Knight Chronicles 2 - comes with the first on disc (older game. Should be cheap)

If you don't already have it on 3ds, legend of Zelda: ocarina of time. It is way less glitchy than the emulators. I think it has the master quest with it (everything is mirrored except text.

For ps3 the god of war series is pretty good if you haven't already played them, the Mass effect series is pretty good, or the max payne series. Hope this helps.

If you are looking for some older stuff, try the Final Fantasy's. Those are always promising. If you like sports, go with Madden or NCAA Football (it has some neat features and game play modes). And then for 3DS, get Mario Kart 7. Those are my suggestions.

SamB : The god of war series is absolutely awful in my opinion.  Mass Effect looks pretty fun, but Max Payne would definitely be something my mom would not approve of.
thing1 :   Final Fantasy is good, but only the old ones.  I have Madden '12, so an NCAA '12 would go nice with it I guess.  I also have Mario Kart 7.

It seems like all the 3DS games that are good are the ones that I already own, but I still need some ideas for what games to get. 
Here is a quick idea of what I am interested in (should have put this in the first post, but it will do now I guess).
Any 3DS game.
Games that involve creativity on the PS3.
Good First Person Shooters (such as call of duty, but not battlefield.  If it is just a plain story shooter, I really like the game Borderlands, so you could compare some of the games to that).

I really don't know the games on those consoles (and handheld). But you should get the newest Uncharted game, I heard it was good. I really don't know about the 3ds. Maybe that 3d Tekken game. I played while I was at my friends house. It looked pretty cool.
