everytime i play a 3d or a nintendo64 game it wont work and it says, *no hardware accelerated dircet3d devices were found, switching refrence rastirizer, asoftware device that implents the entire direct 3d feature set, but runs very slowly* what does that mean and what should i do.

haitamchouiekh : With any N64 game on Vizzed, it has a note on the bottom of the section where it says Play game, it says 'N64 games may only work for some people'. N64 games, from what I see on here, have a dislike for slow computers all together. I would recommend these games for people who have more open memory on there computer, and more RAM/horse power.

haitamchouiekh : This is a video card issue. You can try to turn "up" the 3D accelerator on your card and see if that helps, but most likely it wont.

Believe it or not the N64 emulators require a decent computer with a decent video card/ram/and processor. If you are using a slower computer, you probably won't be able to play those games without lag or at all. You can try both emulators and the different plugin settings to see if it's a little more bearable though
