Greetings Vizzed,

I am Archias ( arr -kigh -iss).
I am quite delighted to have discovered 'Vizzed' and it expansive collection of video games.
I don't usually participate in forums but perhaps this is my starting point. This forum actually
appears to be a unique enough communication grounds to be worth the time.

I doubt this post will ever be read... but to go along with protocol.
Here are just a couple quick facts about myself:

- I live in New York.
- I love video games.
- I am in the middle of reading the book Ready Player One by Ernest Cline, and Vizzed is remarkably close in comparison to some of
the ideas expressed in the book which has further propelled my interest in this website.
- I love anime such as: DBZ, Naruto, Evangelion. (just a couple quick examples)
- I am 25, male, and straight ( I have a beautiful blond girlfriend who I am madly in love with. )
- When I am not playing video games or participating in obligatory girlfriend rituals I am playing music on my piano or guitar - or possibly my uke.

Anyways that should take care of my Introduction. My next move is to find a video game and play the crap out of it =D

Hi archias, and welcome to vizzed!  Your post has in fact been read, and I have a couple questions for you.
I noticed you said you like video games, but you didn't specify.  Could you specify for me?
What do you like about the city of New York?

I apologize for not specifying MLB. I love rpg's. Especially action-rpg's like Zelda. Most of the ones I am familiar with are for super nintendo. I didn't have a super nintendo growing up so most of them were played on my computer via emulators and roms.  Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana, Super Mario RPG - basically anything from Square or Enix.

I enjoy many genres though. I love megaman, especially megaman X,X2 and X3, same for super metroid. I can get addicted really fast if there is any kind of unlockables or level up system. That's why I love Castlevania SOTN for playstation. That game is fantastic. In my later years I picked up a large appreciation for FPS mainly because I have a knack for it. I love the competition in playing Halo or COD multiplayer. I have a high end computer to play new PC games but I find I prefer fps on console systems such as my XBOX 360.

My appreciation is much more expansive than that though, those are just quick references. I love gameboy advance games, I love regular gameboy games as well, same for regular nintendo - I beat super mario 3 and bubble bobble about 500 times as a kid LOL. I recently beat skyrim and thought it was incredible- and I just picked up skyward sword so I have to beat that too. But my main appreciation lies in video games that I can find on this website, I love the old console systems with their bit graphics and bleepity-bloop songs.

Also, I do not live in New York City, I've only been there once, I live on lake Erie, closer to Toronto and Michigan. However  I can still answer what I liked about the city. I liked the amount of people to interact with. I went out there as kind of a party night in the city with my best friend in celebration of him getting married. We went to a bunch of different bars and got wasted. It was quite fun because each bar had so many people. There was not a dull moment. I was not too fond of the traffic though. That was annoying. I don't think I could stand to live there for that very reason.

Anyways, I truly have a large knowledge of video games and a large appreciation for them so while I cant guarantee I have beaten a game, I most probably have at least played it. Give me a try, what are your preferences for video games?

P.S. I apologize If that is too large of a post. I'm not really sure what the proper etiquette is. But I've noted that the more words I write equals more XP so I suppose it can't be that bad of thing with a pleasant incentive like that. =D
