    The Foo Fighters are a truly great band. They've been around for a while (15 years to be exact) and still rocking the show and writing great music after countless albums. The Foo fighters are great but they are nothing compared to nirvana, They practically owe their existence to that band, Nirvana changed the face of music forever and how it was made.

O.K. I am going to give you an argument. Skillet. I do not believe in Christ, but these guys are just awesome. If you listen to rock music, and you are a Christian, then you probably know who are they. They are at almost every Summer Jam. They are purely epic. And they can do more than just rock. That is my argument.

SamB Well played, comrade... My top three bands are Foo Fighters, Nirvana, And Red Hot Chili Peppers. You are true. Nirvana changed music forever. Kurt specialized his own style and went in another direction than others. And the Foo do owe it to Nirvana. If Kurt hadn't killed himself, None of this would never had happened. But, If you are under 17, or you're parents weren't fans, you wouldn't likely have been exposed to Nirvana. I was exposed due to the Foo. I wasn't around at the time (about 3 years off), so a project that I did in the seventh grade on the Foo Fighters introduced Dave Grohl's (front man) past as the drummer. Downloading it off of Itunes, while listening to it in the car with my dad, I found out that he was a LARGE fan and so was my mom.

thing1: I was never into much (cool) Christian music until a friend showed me a bit that was really good. It was a mix of skillet (which has more of a poetic, hidden message) and Kutless (which is a more straightforward Christian message). They are both really good and Skillet is great! I don't listen to it often but it is still good. Another poetic Christian ROCK band is Switchfoot. You should check them out.

Anyone else have an opinion? (and if you say Justin Beiber IMA GONNA troll you into Oblivion!!! So you can become Mehrunes Dagons' pet.)

   Coldplay is pretty good but they're still not my favorite. Their heavy use of synths and mixing doesn't appeal to me. Their music isn't always real.
