If you don't know already, Dust 514 is an upcoming Free to Play FPS exclusively for the Playstation 3. It will be connected to the PC copunterpart, Eve Online, which is also a Free to Play FPS. Currently the game is in Beta, but you could get a taste of all the action in the closed beta!

There are four ways to get a promo code so you could get the beta client.

1.Sign up on the Dust 514 website to be randomly selected for the beta hereurl]https://secure.dust514.com/[/url]

2. Go to the Dust 514 Facebook page. They will randomly give out free promo codes for you to nab.

3. Buy the Mercenary Pack. This will give you a good amount of weapons and armor, along with an all access beta pass which grants you admission to every beta event.

4. Playstation Home has an area dedicated to Dust 514. You first talk to the recruiter. Then complete a game of Slay, a virtual board game in the area (you do NOT have to win). hen watch every video in the area and then go to the recruitment desk (All of them are near the recruiter).

you can't play it all the time however. You must wait for beta events to arrive, usually on weekends.

The game is similar to Halo in looks, and Star Wars Battlefront in gameplay. I had a lot of fun playing the game.

Oh sweet, another first person shooters. First Call of Duty, then Battlefield, and now this game. So where can you get the beta, on PSN? Because I might try it sometime when I have free time
