Hey guys, I've seen this question pop up a few times since I've been here, so I've just addressed it. This should hopefully make help threads a bit easier to find. The new subforums are Linux and BSD, MS Windows, and Mac OS. These forums should only be used for threads that specifically refer to the operating system in question, rather than apps or hardware that goes with these. So for instance, a thread about how to reconfigure Windows 8 to start in Desktop Mode would go in MS Windows, but a thread about the Windows version of Google Chrome should still go in Browsers. So get posting and fill those new forums up!

There's actually a lot of threads that will go into these sub forums, I just need to go through the archives and sort them into them. I know there have been a couple of times when I wanted a Windows or Linux sub forum. As for Mac OS... I don't think that one has come up yet, but it would not be right to leave OS X out of the mix when the other big three are already mentioned.

thing1 : The Windows forum is more for talking directly about the operating system, if your laptop is messing up you should probably use a more appropriate forum (Such as Computers if it's a hardware problem or something). And we already have an Apple forum, that's Mac OS. If you're talking about things such as iPods and whatnot, that still goes in electronics or technology.
