Well which do you like or play more,  I like Halo more because of the story.

Depends on the gameplay on both of them,but I want to see the next halo.

I used to like Halo alot, but then I didn't like anymore, dunno why
my vote goes to Call of Duty, sure it's always the same but most of my online buddies play it and it's fun teaming up and massacre the opposing team

Well, It kind of depends on if you like realistic games OR futuristic games.. So I guess I would choose Halo for it's story and pretty good game play.

Well here's the layout.
Pro Halo:  Halo gave futuristic games and first person shooters a little push that got the genres on a roll that no game did before on consoles. Bungie perfected their own way of first person shooters and went on to create an amazing story about a man who saves the human race from an empire of vile aliens while saving the whole galaxy from itself. It is a truly amazing series.

Pro Call of Duty: Call of Duty is a game that has succeeded like no other made by your friends from Activision (most of the time.). The games have ranged from pretty good to great. There have been eight games so far with a ninth on the way in November. The games have been truly successful with three games in a row, each getting a record for most sales and each breaking the last one's record. No other franchise has done that. (that I remember.) It has been some of the most played games in history.
  
   In conclusion, it is my opinion that halo is the better game due to an in-depth story and a great first person recreation.

Depends, if I want to have fun I like Halo more.  But if I want to be a tryhard a**hole then Call of Duty.

I say Halo. I've played 1, 2, and 3, and started on Reach and ODST. I think I actually finished ODST. I can't remember. 

I used to like COD: MW3, but then a friends asked me to try Battlefield 3, and I haven't played MW3 since.

thing1 : Yeah, you play Battlefield and your hooked. its nearly surpasses halo, Or is right there in a tie with it!

thing1 : Yeah its does kind of i guess.  I like halo story though.  I like the online play of BF espicially BF2.  But the Halo story so its almost half-half for me.

I think Halo has a more entertaining campaign, but Call of Duty has a more intense Multiplayer... I'm still gonna have to give it to Halo. 

I really haven't tried Halo before, so my vote might have to go to Call of Duty. Besides, it's a really fun shooter and one of da bests. Not one shooter can be better then this, except for Uncharted though. It's the best game series ever.

   halo, I think it is more fun because its unrealistic. Plus the story is good, and the multiplayer is spectacular. I dislike C.o.d because I think it takes less skill and just isn't fun for me. Also a lot of c.o.d fans I know act like they are the f*cking elites of the gaming world.

I believe the Halo game play and story trumps Call of Duty all the way. And, if you like competitive play, Halo may not have as many viewers like it used to, but when Halo 4 comes out, outside of PC games, Halo will rule the console competitive play once again.

I honestly don't like either of these. Also, I think Halo feels more like an arcade game than call of duty does, so I wouldn't really compare the two - Call of Duty to Battlefield makes more sense to me.

     This is a tough choice. They both have unique roles in the FPS world.
Single player - Halo wins for having such a deep plot line. COD does pretty
well for what it has to work with for its Single Player story mode but Halo's
is much stronger and more unique.

     Multiplayer, I think the multiplayer for Halo has descended from Halo: Combat Evolved.
Each additional game was more bland and more bland for the multiplayer battles. Halo 2, Halo 3 and Reach... It took less skill and less strategy and more who gets the better gun first. That is why I was hugely grateful for the anniversary edition release of Combat Evolved. 

COD on the other hand created an awesome milestone for multiplayer fps with modern warfare. Each consecutive release has been quite similar and doesn't really delve too much away from the main style. I believe overall COD takes more skill and is more rewarding to play for the multiplayer. 

That is why I voted for COD. After the campaign I'm never going to touch it again unless the multiplayer is fun enough. and COD is the one with the preferred multiplayer and that is why I have dedicated more hours to COD multiplayer than HALO. Although, they honestly are still relatively close. Not saying HALO multiplayer, even with reach, is bad. It is still a contender. I just think they got a little bit too off course and that COD stayed on the right path.

Halo, no doubt. With Halo, I can actually enjoy an interesting story in the campaign, which is something that'll neve happen with CoD. I also really like some of the Halo exclusive features, as opposed to those on CoD. The multiplayer also seems much better in Halo IMO, being the variety of weapons gets you different types of modes to play, Nya~.
