Metroid is a good game one only has to figure out in which direction to go... Sounds simple doesn't it, but after a while of playing I found out that I didn't know where to go or what I needed to get. Finally I went on to youtube.com and whatched a game walk through to find out that what I needed was almost where I was standing.  I finally got to the first boss, but I still haven't killed the first boss.

Metroid is great, the scale of the game considering when it came out it amazing.

I find the Metroid games to be pretty fun. The complicated objectives and maps just make the game much more challenging, which should be the goal for any game designer. I haven't played the newest Metroid game yet, but I've heard it's a bit disappointing, sadly. Luckily, it's only $10 now, so it wouldn't be a huge loss if I bought it and didn't like it, Nya~.

If you're talking about Other M it's not as bad as you heard. It is fun. Ir just that a lot of people didn't like the whole thing about Samus talking, preferring she stay the silent killer.
