I have Vista special service pack 1. Well, i have done everything most say to do. Sigma Tel is my soundcard. It doesn't come with the "Stereo Mix"option. I have tried avs audio (something at the end...can't remember it) Replay v8 and others. Please help me. I have been researching this 7 hours straight. If you know something to help me,please do because i need to record audio out of my speakers. Thank you so much!

From what ive noticed Vista alone doesnt have an options to record directly from your sound output (security issue perhaps?)

I suggest you download a sound recording program called Goldwave and learn it. Its easy to use, and free if i remember correctly. You can set to record from the Audio Output, IE: Stereo Mix.

I dont use that program anymore (i use Adobe software) otherwise id send you screenshots.
