Well there are a bunch of different Pokémon out there nowadays, I like all legendaries but I think they're cheap to use against other players. I've played at least one game from every single generation out there (Apparently there are only 5 but I count the remakes of Silver to SoulSilver as two different games, same for FRLG compared to RBGY) and it seems as though the common types for the game (excluding online battles) include at least 1 of each: Psychic types, Water types, Ground types. The rest are just preference Pokémon or also known as interchangeable with one another. Online play is a totally different thing, there are numerous ways to go about battling. I've even seen a Level 100 Rattata sweep! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kwT6GYLADsA&feature=related) and other types of battle strategies with Stealth Rock/Toxic techniques.  Personally, I've tried the Toxic and Dragon Tail method but I realized too late that you need tankers such as Snorlax or Blissey to use Toxic and make your opponent switch out. Well, I guess to properly respond to your post I don't have a favorite Pokémon but I do like many different Pokémon. Any other Wifi Battle strategies? I don't battle via Wifi, I only battle people I know but its still tough.
