I loved the movie. I thought that it tied in well with the others while leaving the Alien Franchise to stand on its own. The questions that this movie brought up were things that we think about everyday. What would we do to live forever? How did we come to be? I am glad that this movie made me think and didn't treat me like I was stupid. What are your thoughts?

While I still prefer the original series of Alien movies, I did enjoy Prometheus and am already looking forward to the sequel to see where the story goes and progresses

I didn't hate the movie, but I certainly wasn't a huge fan.  My husband rented it without realizing what it was, and he was all astonished at the end.  "Oh my goodness.. this is how Aliens started!!!!" I almost wanted to laugh because even without knowing anything about the intentions of the movie, I thought it was rather obvious.

That being said, I only caught the last half of the movie, and I thought it was -okay- at best.  Some of the graphics were a little cheap while other graphics were well done (from what I saw), and the movie didn't contain many surprising elements.

My thought on the movie was that I thought it was an awesome scifi movie and how they were looking for life on another planet then the robot/human guy betrays then and the girl has an alien baby I loved watching Prometheus.

I really liked the movie, I have always enjoyed the Alien franchise but some movies more than others though.  I thought Prometheus was a very good prequel to the series.  I even went to go see it in IMAX 3D and I don't usually go to see movies in theatre.  I just recently bought it on Blu-Ray as well.  I'm probably going to show it to my friends XD.

It is a very difficult movie to understand and to actually get a strong feel on the entire movie you have to watch it at least twice. I actually liked it but most everyone else I know thought it wasted their time.

If this is the Prometheus i think your talking about i didn't like it that much. Everyone dies except for one lady and a robot head. But i haven't seen the original alien movies so i guess that's why nothing made any sense.
