Dynasty Warriors 7 Empires was announced at E3 2012 that features a new character named Xu Shu. The Dual Weapon System is still here, the create a warrior is present,and the conquest mode (which is the story mode) will be 2 player friendly online or offline. The game will be digital download because the game won't have an English dub. This game is ps3 only. 2 new weapons will be added: Fencing Sword (Xu Shu EX weapon) and the Siege Lance (Xiahou Ba New EX Weapon). Dlc from Dynasty Warriors 7 and Xtreme Legends will be compatible except the weapons since they will be assigned to people which are: Daqiao (pugil sticks), Cao Ren (spiked shield), Huang Gai (Arm Blade), Zu rong (boomerang), and  Ding Feng (Circle Blade). Gan Ning's  Sickle has been removed away and has been replaced with the flail. Strategies (like water attacks, arrow strikes, falling boulders and more) have been added.

Wow, this is going to be an awesome game.  But isn't Xu Shu already in Dynasty Warriors the whole time? I think he is the fat person on the Wei side.  Anyways, I am surprised the it is only going to be on the PS3. I am sure they will make one for the Xbox 360 because it would be weird to not have it on there, but we will see.  Cannot wait to tell my friend, this is going to be hilarious.

Maybe iv just grown out of dynasty warriors but empires 6 was not as good as i remember the series being, i have fond memorys of empires on ps2

I probably won't get it. I really am not that big of a fan of that stuff. I can barely get through the show. The only one that I could get through, and I know this isn't a part of the series, is Code Geass because of its intense storyline.
