ok, Viz is more like money. by posting, you get a certain amount of Viz based on the post length (5 Viz for 10 or less: 10 for 11-99: 20 for 100 or more). you can also earn Viz by winning various board contests and doing favors, stuff like that.

You level up also by posting and gaining exp (which you get from posting). you also get exp when idle, but not much

Looks like this has been pretty much covered, but just like any other forum, you're best rewarded by being active. And not just active with little tidbits, we tend to like it if people have obviously put some thought and effort into their posts. Then we have something to kill our free time with!

It's also generally good practice to read FAQs when they're available before making too many posts.

I gather that you can spend Viz on things but I've not really paid much attention to that aspect myself. At least not yet.
